Before setting up device in OptimiDoc please make sure you have SNMPv3 enabled on the device and System Administrator Account created.

As a next step create new SNMPv3 configuration in OptimiDoc based on the information from previous step.

Next in OptimiDoc devices list click "Add new device" button.

Model field of the device must contain this string: "onbox" (case sensitive), if it's VersaLink device, model field must contain also this "VersaLink"

Accounting must be enabled as well.

Authentication

PIN or Login&PIN only

Last step is to select previously created SNMPv3 configuration. Then you can save the configuration and wait until the device is installed.

If the device is VersaLink, please restart the device.

When previous steps are done, please proceed to Devices -> JBA OnBox section.

Here you can click "Add" button and add OnBox configuration.

Fill out the Device field - is autocomplete

Role/Group - select the user role/department - for example "Everyone"

Now device is configured to use JBA OnBox. We download JBA log each hour and run user synchronization. Also at 2 am we run full sync of user accounts.

You can also force OptimiDoc to synchronize accounts on the device using the refresh button (green), to run full sync manually you have to clear the last check field first.

Things which do not work perfectly:

- if you add to group user or department it is not considered as user change hence these changes are not replicated immediately rather then you have to wait until full sync

- if PIN authentication is used then deleted PINs are functional till the full sync
